Jill Rekuc Olde Raleigh Real Estate, LLC
Jill Rekuc is a Raleigh native; raised inside the Beltline and a lifetime member of Christ Episcopal Church. After graduating from East Carolina University with a BS in Nursing, embarked in her ICU nursing career as a Critical Care Nurse at NC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. Jill transitioned into the corporate world of Glaxo SmithKline and worked 16 years in R&D middle management, specifically within Clinical Research and Regulatory Affairs. During this time, Jill earned her Master’s Degree from NCSU in health education; an ideal graduate education for a critical care nurse working in corporate America.
After brokering multiple friends’ transactions behind the scenes, she eagerly plunged into her second career, practicing residential real estate. During her tenure with ReMax United Jill’s team excelled!
In 2009, Jill founded Olde Raleigh Real Estate, LLC, (ORRE) a full service real estate firm. ORRE is dedicated to the concentration and endorsement of West Raleigh, specifically within the Olde Raleigh area and surrounding neighborhoods. For Jill, being “Olde Raleigh’s Resident Real Estate Expert” is the result of 25 years of personal and professional commitment to this area. No one is more qualified to represent homeowners wishing to sell, and buyers desiring to move into this area, than Jill.
Living in Olde Raleigh is a pleasure. The neighborhood’s location, its premiere proximity to Raleigh’s cultural, sporting & entertaining hotspots, its abundance of quality custom luxury homes, truly wonderful amenities and fantastic neighbors make it very easy to love being a resident in Olde Raleigh.
Please meet Jill’s family...
Tom, banker and CPA is a major ‘people person.’ Her beautiful intelligent daughter Caroline, is attending second year Medical School at Lake Erie College of Medicine in Greensburg, Pa. Her handsome, gregarious son Brian, graduated Magna Cum Laude from NCSU May 2013, taught in Spain for a year andis now attending graduate school in Business at Wake Forest University.
Just as empty nesting became reality, we blessed our lives with Lillie Mae, a 1 year old old lemon Basset! Needless to say, she forced quite an adjustment on the household! Jill’s hobbies include ever-focusing on her family, gardening, reading, socializing with girlfriends, raising Lillie Mae to behave, and spending much time with Tom.
Jill’s mantra is simple and real...“Life Is So Good!”
